what would changing my RED C905 to BROWN give me? i can patch phone_app.cxc just fine.. i download phone_app.cxc, apply patches, cxc.exe (to recalc checksum) then reupload. |

i can patch phone_app.cxc just fine.. i download phone_app.cxc, apply patches, cxc.exe (to recalc checksum) then reupload. I downloaded phone_app.cxc, patched it (Sony Ericsson ROCKS! modification), used cxc* and reuploaded. Phone starts, vibrates, turns display on, waits and switches itself off.

are there any tutorials on disassembling phone_app.cxc? .. so far i got it loaded with den_po's CXC loader plugin, got some strings, but no xrefs to them.. people must be getting around this file with more than just a bunch of ARM code pieces in IDA Pro =P
also what are phone_emp_app.cxc and phone_acc.cxc for ?

i patch w890i brown using a2 uploader...all is ok, but after i restart my phone nothing change...
for example, i patched radio without headset...but after patching it still looks normal require headset...  |
