I`ve got an iphone 3gs 16gb.When holding the phone facing you,and when the ipod is playing, when i cover the right speaker with a finger, the left speaker is loud. When i cover the left speaker, the right speaker is`nt as loud.Is this a problem or is it the same with your iphone?

its a common mistake but the iphone only has one speaker. its the one on the left in your scenario. the right hand side is a microphone only! this has been the same since the first iphone

Thats common with most phones with stereo speakers one is louder than the other. I used to get that on my old N73 W595 and others that had stereo speakers.

did you not read what I wrote? iPhone doesn't have stereo speakers! so comparison with phones that do is irrelevant

Page 20 in the user's guide (PDF-link; click to download your own copy!) shows what masseur is saying; left is speaker and right is microphone:

I looked in the manual and it says that you can set the time to update automactically but the setting is not there in my phone. Is this setting in your phone or is it only available in some countrys?

I don't have a manual handy. where does it say this setting is? I don't see such a setting myself
in any case, I've never set the time manually on my iphone that I can recall and so I assume it is being done automatically, probably when I connect with iTunes?

Page 146 in the user's guide. The setting is under Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically (on/off). Clock synchronisation is operator-dependant through the parameter SupportsNITZ in the carrier bundle files. If this is set to 'false' then the setting cannot be enabled.
