What do you mean by default?
Each value controls 5-band manual equalizer, but it's untested in clear audio phones. All default is 0. You can set it to plus or minus value

No. K850 default is 15, but I may be wrong.. You could edit manual equalizer, or use Bass and MegaBass
You have K850? The csv may not work, therefore you don't get additional dynamic range and boosted (+6dB) volume. It depends on the csv
By using csv, I also can make the equalizer recognize more than 15dB/bar when using customize_upgrade.xml.. But only for phone that has csv
I'm glad hearing that you're satisfied

Hi hiron I used your driver 'hard'. The sound quality is Wonderful. But doesn't have that much loud. Its decent.
I feel 3.5mm jack gives more 30% volume than fast port and quality also good with no distortion at t max. Why don't you do the change for fast port also.

There are 2 reasons:
1. Compared with fastport, 3.5mm jack use different channel mixing algorithm
2. Compared with fastport, 3.5mm jack is capable of handling more output power, hence contributing to the volume and clarity. It also minimizing headphone damping factor. See wikipedia for details
Because there are some people that wants higher volume, new version is released today. See first post for more details. I didn't expect this update since I usually listen csv#1 at 2-3 bar only
Solution: Redownload the new version in the first post and use csv number two
@pohuman, You're welcome

Excuse me but i am a bit confused here..does the file works with C905?Is it as loud as Francis Mar's acoustic? |

C905 is A2 phones right? It's compatible with yours. About which is louder, why don't you try it? That's because every person has different taste. I usually listen first csv around 2-3 bar (max volume is 8bar).
If you feel that the first csv is not loud enough, try second csv... Louder, better dynamic range, but eq limited to 6dB (6 bar)

Hi Hiron,
And what's about HPM-70 which version of 1.2 will be better for them? |

Sorry, I cancel that... I just play a bit with drc equalizer inside wbxml. It gives a good and expected result, but I thought it's best to leave it alone so wbxml has flat frequency response. Let the Media Player / Walkman equalizer do the job
If you think that there's too much bass in hpm-70, hpm-77 or hpm-82, just lower the first bar in manual equalizer, or you can use normal or bass eq.
@norbi, I guess you has K850, right? Since it doesn't parse csv files, I'm sorry that you will not get boosted volume + dynamic range. Just upload the wbxml and customize_upgrade.xml, and I hope you're still satisfied with the volume

Yeah, I know the k850i don't support scv, I was thinking may be there will be some improvements for non csv (may be you get someting in your mind to improve the driver) but it's still vgood thanks. |

Currently, my goal is to raise the volume from wbxml (without csv assistance), so K850 and other A2 first generation can still has decent volume. I have K660, and the volume is low although the quality is great... I can't raise it without makes a distortion or degrade a quality...
For now, I don't have any further idea... Maybe someone can shed the light

Finally got some time to try them on my W715. Will try your drivers tonight and reply with the result!
I will be using version 1.2 flat or whatever you told me before from your reply to my post. I will be testing them with the HPM-64 and HPM-70.
@pohuman. You got Sennheiser headphones. What do you expect?

@geokilla,
v1.5 is out. Many user that had A2 first generation phones (such as K850, W910) said to me that they needs louder volume. Since they doesn't has csv to boost volume, I tried to boost it from wbxml itself, so it's not csv dependent.
Another notable difference was more agressive treble, punchy bass and maintained clarity while still minimizing distortion and noise impact. Must try, especially for people who is using in-ear canal handsfree like HPM-77 and HPM-82. But if you don't like it, just switch back to flat
And lol... Senn cans is already awesome by default
New version everyday... Now I want to take some holiday
