Only by looking at icons in status bar. The 3G/H symbol, and the E/G symbol above signal bars.

Not that I know of.
Check under the battery for the model number.

Yes, in the Service Menu. It is accessed by pressing a combination of keys while in standby: (using the * key and the directionals < and > )

> * < < * < *

Then going into Service Info > Configuration (this is on my K750, should have similar or same menus on other models)

There you can see the frequencies the phone works on. You will also find other useful information on the Service Menu.

The forum rules are there for you to read. They explain what kind of title is acceptable, so use it. Going round typing immature and condescending comments like that isn't going to get you any friends. If you want help, follow the rules and be friendly.

That's only for the GSM frecuencies, it doesn't show the UMTS/3G, I have checked on my K850i.

As carkitter said the only way is by looking under the battery.

Understood but, I have been posting here for quite some time now and never had an issue. Laffen closed my thread within minutes because it didn't fit his criteria for a proper thread title. Laffen has also closed quite a few threads lately because of their title description. It is an "eliteist" attitude and shys away new members from ever posting here again. He closed a first-time posters thread before even getting a response and closed another new users thread seeking help even while he was already getting responses for help and before he fully got the help he needed. That sends these people elsewhere.
I know that if that was the way I was treated within my first few posts I would have been elsewhere shortly there after. Admittedly, I realize that I really don't bring much to the table with technical advice and sponge whenever possible but, when there is a topic I can help with I do. Even if it is just an opinion of a product I'm familiar with. I introduced the Esato board to the Zagg Invisishield(
