I tried using the 1.3.2.7 drivers with two USB Bluetooth dongles used as network interfaces to connect:

1-Laptop(WinXP)+Dongle
connected to
2-Desktop(WinXP)+Dongle+NormalNetworkCard

THE PROBLEM - if you bridge in machine2(Desktop) the dongle and network card, something really weird happens. The connection to the Laptop(1) doesn't work and it sees a local MAC address different then the address seen from other machines !!!
(It even gets an IP if I use DHCP but the lease info shows the MAC address different from the local one...).

Anyone had any experience with bridging the BT/USB with a network card in XP ??? Any hint ?

@marcellos: I managed to get two billionton usb dongles to connect as a peer to peer lan. the 1.3.2.7 driver is a LOT better. and pairing can only be initiated by one machine. You don't have to activate connection in both PCs to be able to use windows networking. A lot more stable too. My win98 pc doesn't crash whenever I use bluetooth unlike the previous drivers. But sorry I can't help you with WinXP. Good luck

@xtrem:
Billionton released the 1.3.2.7 software. I couldn't find it in their site but the link I took it from was from one of these threads. Just do a search for "billionton usb driver".

@xtrem- here's the link to billionton's drivers...
http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm
I wonder why they don't have a link to this in their main site. If nobody posted it here, I won't find it either.

Did you ever connect your Billionton USB dongle with T68i or BT headset ?

I have Billionton USB with 1.3.2.7 driver installed with Win98 notebook. I can't get it work with my T68i. When I try to pair the devices. Message from the phone "Paring Succeeded". On the notebook. The system comes up with message "Authentication with device T68i failed".

Any suggestions ?

Thx !
