To be honest, not all the phones have macro nor panorama. It'd be better a generic theme.

No offence but i donīt think everyone could manage this. All arenīt that "into" after editing and stuf like that. And should they upload all the 2-3-4 original pics they have taken then in fullsize? Itīs a fun theme but i donīt think it suites the majority of the "snappers" out there. Just my thoughts

individually i'm like macro and panoramis picture
but in my opinion it's better to keep generic theme like usual. because not all camera have macro or panoramic function. i'm sorry but i think this theme can decrease the numbers of participant. and "Don't use any software edit picture" we can't take picture always in good conditions, sometimes we can take overexposure/underexposure,etc, so we need some software to give better picture.
just in my mind

Thanks you so much ^^ i choose this because, i think a long time, with people use camera mobile, everyone usually use portrait mode, macro mode, landscape mode,v..v... And with panorama mode in mobile?? The answer is: several times. Why? Because it so hard? no popular? or no beautiful?

So, i want who people join this theme, they will find new style, new viewing angle, new feeling,... just feeling all when they shot many, many times... Try it now and try feeling!!! ^^ So hard but so funny ^^

thanks for your comment ^^ "you must upload all the 2 -3 -4 original pic when your mobile dont have panorama fuction ^^ this theme is so hard, but i think: "Hard but not can't" "don't try, how know that?" ^^ i hope everyone try this theme ^^ funny so funny ^^

@Firoz3321: Thanks you so much ^^

@Junz: thanks for your comment ^^ i think like u, too...and it the cause i create this theme: "Hard, but not can't not". I hope you all will try shot with this theme, maybe just once time, everyone can test with this tip:

Pic 1: focus, then shot!

Pic 2: move viewing angle back to viewing of pic1, then press and hole half shift, then move to pic 2, then shot!

warning: if we want, we can press "Finish" key, and we have panorama pic with two pic

Pic 3: move viewing angle back to viewing of pic1, then press and hole half shift, then move to pic 3, and shot! Finally!

FINISH ^^

note: why we must shot as this tip? With mobile phone can use Raiderski Camdriver and don't have manual lock auto explosure, we can apply this tip, the light in three pic will perfect!

Try it now and have fun! ^^

that's good enough, boy_ice
but please do not disable editing....

people are not that into macra+panorama...
so, it would be good to have limited editing....
like just exposure correction and stuff
no drastic changes like tones and shades and all that, if u wish....
humour is what makes me laugh...

I haven't really been involved in these competitions much, except to make the topic a sticky, but hasn't one of the basic principles always been that photos should come direct from the camera without editing otherwise it becomes a competition not of phone photograhic skills but instead a competition of editing skills?

if the topic of the month is not compatible with the majority then maybe the topic for the month should be re-thought, or.. it should be understood that the topic of the month can not always be compatible with every participant

my opinion is to keep it natural/unedited but I'll leave you all to decide for yourselves

Little late to wish but yeah, congrates on winning last months competition. You must be on cloude no 9 and i guess you have taken that pic from there only.
About this months theme, i welcome it. I love trying different things. And actually, god knows, as you said we might discover new style of photography. Those who find it hard, can try hard to participate and those who find it easy, can right away start snapping and participate.

Worth a think

AND

5) Picture postprocessing is allowed

6) Don't use any software edit picture

Don't these two points CONTRADICT ??

For those of you (like me) who have phones without panorama mode I recommend AutoStitch. Very easy to use. Just dump the photos in a folder on your PC and select them all in the program and it then stitches them together automatically.

Another option is to just take a macro shot and then crop it into a narrow shot like the example in the first post...
