Damn, your guys are a bit paranoid
I tried a lot of slider phones and never actually got annoyed by wobbling. If I push my W995 it wobbles a tiny bit (a half millimeter or so), but I really wouldn't have seen it if I wouldn't have come across this thread. X1 wobbles, this phone doesn't (I cant twist my X1 a few millimeters, and even that doesn't bother me a thing....) |

While I agree that a little wobble isn't annoying, a phone that wobbles right out of the box seems sub standard, especially for a flagship. As for you guys who are asking why SE can't do a proper QC for the phone?
Read Eldar Murtazin's Spillikinks #12 and you'll find out crucial information about SE, especially regarding QC. He titled the Spillikinks "what’s wrong with Sony Ericsson".
P.S. If you're too lazy to read through the whole article, skip to 5th last paragraph of the article. It's a damn good article, though. And I believe most SE supporters feel exactly the same. If only SE would wake up and listen to him (us).. |

Hehe... Maybe you are right. I got over this problem. Every time I got annoyed I press the play button...hear the quality of my w995 and smile.

Anyone having problems with their 3.5 jack? I cant get decent quality sound from there but perfect from the charger connector...

Mine's fine and actually better than the port. Are you using the new apple headphones? If so that's the problem. Do you hear only voice or only music or something?

Using the Headsets from a Blackberry Bold... Will try the headsets that came in the box...
What headsets are you using?
I hear it as a very poor quality MP3 file, uneven.

I read the whole article and I don't think it has anything to do with SE's QC. Besides not only SE is infamous for these issues, all manufacturers are because all of them outsource components from cheapo Chinese plants and you know what you'll get then. All slider phones are vulnerable to wobbles sooner or later. If you think there's such a thing as an in-wobble-able slider phone then why aren't slider phones that popular? |

Actually I won't write this but QC is fine, A bit slide wobbly for protecting 2 part of phone to bruise each part and later phones use spring mechanism not pairs to connected between two part.
but 1 of 3 model I had played sometime had wobbly more than usual so maybe get to repair center if you feel uncomfortable with spring mechanism.
