There seem's to be a lot of touchscreen mobile phones being released but all with crappy LED flashes, Why is there none coming out with a Xenon flash?

I'm really wanting to buy a good responsive touchscreen phone with a decent Xenon flash on it as there's just no point buying one with an LED flash as they are so poor in low light conditions.

Doesn't that have a poor flash that is not much better than a LED flash?

It's weaker than some devices that have xenon flash, but it's a hell of a lot better than LED

Not sure if its right but do phones with Xenon flashes in normally have to be bigger phones in order to fit the flash? Phones seem to be getting smaller so perhaps LED can easily fit in smaller phones and dont kill battery as much.

I think it's to do with the capacitors for the flash not the flash itself having said that the Nokia 6220 Classic is relatively small for a Xenon.

When I took apart my N82, I was astounded as to how much crap was stuffed into a phone. The xenon flash was pretty large and the capacitor was pretty large itself.

Fear not, for the future is brighter-Satio is coming-hopefully with a decent responsive TS as well. But only after Samsung's Pixon 12

The Pixon12 has both xenon and powerled flashes and also incorporates a capacitive touchscreen.

Only problem is that thepixon 12 probably won't be released until August or September here in the UK
