My WiFi doesn't pick up ANY networks even though I'm right beside the router. SE support here in the states for the c905 isn't that good.(30-60 days) Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I've tried all the usual options; re-installing, removing battery..... Still nothing. Appreciate anyone's input...

Have you previously been able to connect to your router?

Yes and yes, never had any issues with WiFi till I changed my CDA because the phone kept crashing and SEUS had removed the "continue anyway" option. WiFi worked then stopped working. Now it has completely stopped being able to even find a network. Another odd thing is that when I turn the phone on and off the WiFi will be turned on even if it wasn't on prior to shut down. I have to run. Any help is as always appreciated.

Keep thinking that I have the WiFi fixed then it stops working again. Re-installed software/firmware, did a master reset, and WiFi worked like a charm. Then the WiFi disconnected while browsing and hasn't been able to find a signal since.... really don't want to lose my phone to SE America for 30-60 days... It is very annoying.

Update; the only useful info I've found is that it may be a corrupt SIM card causing the WiFi not to work. My phone on occasion does display "inactive sim" and requires me to restart. So keep fingers crossed and hope this is the problem.

Is your's c905 or c905a model?
If you put c905 firmware on a c905a you'll get a lot of issues...
Since signal failure till self restarts...
is a lifestyle!

Thanks guys. The SIM card hasn't seemed to help. I have a "i" version and have chosen Generic UK or Western Europe , not sure I changed the CDA a few times. Current software says 1205-9079 R1EA033 090512. I have done the battery a few times. Perhaps not a full 10 seconds so I'll try that. Pretty sure the "a" version isn't available just yet. Wifi wouldn't be such a big deal for me if I had 3g. Stuck on Edge for now, the wifi made up for it though.

The FULL 10 SECONDS seems to have worked ...(or the phone just decided to work) Thank you Veg and the rest of ya'll. Appreciated as always.

EDIT: It seems that the WiFi had just decided to work....Used wifi for a full night and worked fine. Disconnected and WiFi hasn't functioned since even after 10 SECOND battery removal.....Just keeps searching.

The latest thing i've discovered is that there seems to be a correlation between my wifi working and my memory card not being in the phone. When I remove and replace the battery as well as remove my memory card the wifi works. When I put the memory card back in the phone the wifi stops working once I disconnect from a network. It could be a coincidence but, i've been able to repeat it. Any ideas?

That's very strange. Probably the placement of the memory card somehow disrupts the Wi-Fi antenna? A wild guess of mine though.
