Connect your phone to the computer and use Phone Mode.

On your computer:

1. Start Menu - Accessories - Communication - Network Setup Wizard
It may show you a list of disconnected network cables but ignore them.

2. Choose "This computer connects directly to the internet. The other computers...." and click Next.

Don't change anything about your computer name and description.

3. When it ask you a Workgroup name, make sure you put the same name on your Phone (in "Settings - Connectivity - Network Sharing"
Click Next

4. Select "Turn on file and printer sharing" and then click Next.

5. It will show you a list of the Networks your computer is connnected to. There you should find your W910 network. Select the network corresponding to your W910.

That's it. It works like a charm on my W910.

The only problem you may encounter is about your firewall. That I can't help you. You have to allow communication between to and from your W910 network.

You don't need to have data account to use local network but you have to have Local Connection enabled.

"Settings - Connectivity - Internet Settings"
enable "Allow local conn."

"Settings - Connectivity - Streaming Settings"
choose "Connect using USB Ethernet"

@hi2vino

The most important thing is:
Go to Settings->Connectivity->USB->USB network->USB network type and select the last option "Via Computer".

NOw u're ready to surf on your phone via pc connection.

Happy surfing

data accounts is where you will define ur APN(access point name) of your network ISP
Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others All we need now is a little patience
