Hi all

Just to say I managed to blag the following deal with a FREE Sony Ericsson Satio from Vodafone and will be receiving my new toy in the morning

600 mins, unlimited texts and web for £19.67 on 18 month contract - no 15 months deal then up to £35 for last 3 months etc so there is definitely scope to haggle with Vodafone retentions if you try hard enough.

BTW I was offered the above deal by rententions when they rang me with my PAC code and I have only been on a £15 rolling 30 day sim only deal with vodafone for last 6 months or so and never spent more than £20 on my bill.

Aint had a Sony Ericsson since the w800i but looking forward to having a play with it and seeing if I prefer it to my trusty HTC Touch Diamond - if I don't it will be going on ebay ASAP.

So I just bought it on eBay (cant wait!) dont get me wrong I love the phone but can anyone give me a reson why Sony wont put 3.5mm jacks on their phones? It litterally blows my mind that they came out with the Xperia and w995 with the jacks but did NOT put them in the Aino and Satio? WHY? Also for heavy music listener do you think it will be really annoying without it? I even bought an adaptor for it.

this is only a trial, no piracy don't warry

please tell me if it works well on your satio...

I have a lifetime wayfinder licence BUT it does support the S60v5 software.

Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

To people with some insight. Do you think satio will be upgradable to SF^2? For me it would be a big plus but not a dealbreaker. But I would feel kind of screwed if it turns out it doesn't and SE releases SF^2 phones H1 next year.

Who officially announced it, and when? What have SE said about Satio being updated to Symbian^2? Be very careful about what you accept as fact when it comes to so-called "promised" updates, they invariably turn out to be the invention of forums like this.
t28s -> t39m -> t68i -> P800 -> P910i -> M600i -> HTC Tytn II -> iPhone 3G

I quite convinced that no S60 5th phones will ever see Symbian^2 running with an
official software update.
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.
