Hi,

I have de-branded my c905 using A2uploader and have transferred some themes (.swf & .thm) but some menus such as writing a text, still have the default white backround, although usually the icons change.

I know from my previous SE models that the flash theme usually changes the lot - (main menu, icons, sub menus etc) but it just doesnt seem to be workiing on the C905?

I have updated the cda file and upgradede via SUES but still no joy.

Can anyone offer any help please on where Im going wrong?

Thanx
Rich

That part seems to require patching, and no one has succeeded in doing it yet. Strange that on their ads they even show the convo style SMS in landscape mode.

Hi, thanx for the reply.

Is that correct, I mean a flagship phone from SE and it wont display flash themes properly? That seems hard to beleive, if other models (including lower spec) are able to install the themes then why shouldnt this model?

Im really confused about this, I have downloaded themes with screen shots that show what it will be like, but after installing them, you dont get the icons, text screen etc etc, why is that?

Surely it would of been brought up on here before now if this was the case, but i dont see one post about it?

The message editor layout on C905 is un-edit-able (pardon the grammar )

Ok, I didnt know about that before. In that case Im going to put mine back on the Orange firmware, the whole idea of de-branding it was to get the full use of these fancy themes.

If the C905 is incapable of handling these themes (that other SE models will without any problems), then I find that very dissapointing - and a major flaw on the part of SE for not allowing that in a new model.

Why dont the sites that adviertise these themes tell you that they will work with all models apart from c905?

Abt the icons, you probably got a wrong version of the theme.
