What Bluetooth device are you using? And what drivers?
I can recommend Widcomm drivers, those have been working perfect for me for years. (not for XP x64 though)

Could you also describe what error occurs, or exactly what you do until it goes wrong ?

Not sure if this is any help, however i had a similar problem with the bluetooth on my K800 a few months back. I bought a Micradigital bluetooth dongle from Argos in the UK it uses the Widcomm bluetooth stack which is by far the best one. It turns out the dongle is a variant of a Belkin F5D model bluetooth dongle. Now this dongle worked perfectly with everything except my K800, i had the helpline test it while i was on the phone and it was confirmed that this particular dongle was incompatible with the bluetooth chip in a K800i. It works with every other SE and Nokia phone except the K800....lol

I still use it now with my C905.

Well, one thing you could try is removing the phone from the Widcomm drivers (right click on the bluetooth icon on the systray -> advanced -> access). Set the visibility from your dongle to all devices.

Then right click on the bluetooth icon again in the systray, click add bluetooth device. Select the options you want to use. For example, I have selected HID support, virtual com port support (which enables you to browse copy and remove files from and to the phone), obex file transfer (which is necessary for sending files over from your phones file manager to the pc).

If you use the virtual com port you should be able to copy files from your phone to pc and vice versa via windows explorer. That should always work. If you send a file from your phone to the pc trough the SE filemanager on the phone then you really need the OBEX file stuff to be installed.

Try it out and let me know if it works!

Good luck,

I have noname china made bluetooth device also... And you know, widcomm is not 100% compatible with XP SP3... In fact, it works properly only with XP SP1 and earlier OS's version.

Perhaps, try using BlueSoleil. That pack of drivers are also signed by microsoft and won't make any single problem with your bluetooth adapter. At least I have tested them and they seem to work great on XP SP2, Vista and WIndows 7 for using Bluetooth PAN.

How to check that Com port? "briscoe76" said that he also faced the same problem with bluetooth dongle.his advice is bluetooth chip of k800i does not supports data from all bluetooth dongle's,so he confirmed me that i have to replace dongle.
