How to turn off annoying camera focus sound on c905? |

Hi
I am on "3" in sweden (HI-3G somewhere else) and they have a rule that camera phone must make sound when you take a picture. (security reason ... )
So there is no option to turn it off, only to choose one of four melodies.
My question is: is there any other way to turn off "camera focus" and "take picture" sound somehow on c905. May be I can erase sound file (change name) on my c905 with some software? Grateful for any help!  |

Yes you can. Use A2Uploader to access your file system and replace 'Camerafocus' file with an empty one. Path for that file is tpa/preset/system/sound.

hi
does any one know which file of acoustic is related to sound of camera and sms and ringtone ?
because i've changed all the 44 files of acoustic driver and now the sound of camera is too high. i wanted to make it like before but having good sound for music

Silent mode does not help, camera sound is still ON

A2uploader will not start
I am running vista home premium 32 swedish, uac is off and I choose run as admin but I get error like "can not find drive, path or file. Maybe You do not have rigts to access that object" ???
I installed ggsetup2.2.0.1
Restarted system. Still same error !
What now? |

Try re-downloading A2 , I had a similar problem yesterday, the file couldnt be found by Vista but once i re-installed it worked once I'd switched off the anti-virus softwear too of course.
A2 is the only way to remove the camera sounds, i've done it before on K850i by replacing the files with an empty file of the same name. it does work. |

Oh, no. I downloaded a2uploader from all three locations but I get same error every time
Any suggestions? |

Do you have anti virus softwear disabled as mine detects A2 as a virus and will not open the programme until i switch off the antivirus programme. |

i found this on google.
it worked for me, i use avg.
Open AVG, go to Tools, and look down until there is an open menu called Resident Shield, under it there's a sub menu called Exceptions, create a folder on the desktop, go on exceptions, click Add Path, find the folder you just created and select it, then download a2uploader from the site to that folder and now you can use the a2uploader from there.

...or you can just adjust the level of lens focus to infinite,if you dont want to patch your phone.... |

Antivirus is Off, but still nothing.
Yes i can choose focus to infinite but when phone take a picture there is still that "take picture" sound.
Anyway I called my friend and asked him to download A2uploader and try will it work. It works on his computer so I will visit him soon.... |
