If you enables the P800 Bluetooth signal, what is the expected standby-time vs. with BT Off? I wanna be able to use my HBH-30 with voice dial, ALWAYS... My T-39 BT drains the battery in hours.
Is it true that the HBH-30-button cannot activate voice calls to the P800 with current P800 s/w version?

Hi!

If I just make a few calls (approx 4-5 calls every day, a total time of maybe 15-20 minutes), and the BT always is on, communicating with my Bluespoon headset, my P800 phone survives without charge for 29 hours.

Since I charge the batteries every night, I don't think this is a problem, but I can understand that this is frustrating for users that don't.

However, I have never had the problem with my T39. I could with the thick battery still use the phone for a looong time before charging.

I've had my P800 for just over 3 weeks now. Battery was a nightmare for the first week, hardly lasted 12 hours. It's doing over 24 now with BT always on but it's still well below what I expected.

T39 and R520 didn't have optimized Bluetooth chips yet... my R520 ate up battery w/ BT on.

The HBH-30 works perfectly with the P800, the button activates the voice dialling.

Battery life of the P800 is about average. I don't know why people expect 400 hours WHILE PLAYING WITH THE PHONE. Standby time is just that...standby time! Turn of your backlight, enable powersave, and stop fiddling with the damn thing... it'll last more than a week! Geez... an iPaq doesn't even give you 4 hours!

@jplacson, My light is on auto, I do enable powersave, I make no more than 15 minutes' worth of calls a day and I don't play with the damn thing. My battery WILL NOT last for more than 24 hours. No way.

That is strange... the few days that my phone would only last 24 hours, were the first few days I had it since I was playing with it non-stop!

After that, I get about 2 days or so with average use... well.. I actually get about 36 hours on it... not a full 48.

I've taken my phone from the charger saturday morning 6 A.M., bluetooth on. I've installed the HCB-30 car kit from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., and have played quite a bit with it. Now, it's Monday, 11 A.M., and my phone still has 17% of battery left
