@ lazarni

thanks mate for keeping an eye out for me

but the p800 keeps the green light on for more than 20 seconds i know what you mean it used to do it with the t68m that i had too but only for 3 seconds or so not a minute!!

plus the light is on when the phone is turned off!?!?!?!?

why did my p800 have to stop working all at once at least let the phone part work!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt even get a reply at howardsforum

anyone know where i can find the battery for the p800 or a phone that uses the same battery as the p800???

im starting to think that it IS the battery and not the actual phone now

Have you ever made a backup on your PC? You might try to restore that, then, coz that seems to happen before the phone actually boots...
Maybe worth a try....

Good luck mate, I can imagine how you feel, loosing your fresh love

Hi! Realy don't know P800, but my friends with Siemens SL45i had a similar problems. After a mind-storm :-) with some mates we realised, that MMC caused soft hangs and problems with turning on. Have your problem solved as soon as posible!!! Herbi

A real "rim shot" here for you as i too think it`s your battery, so because li-ion/li-pol batts hate ultra low temperature, why not put your battery in the ice box to "refresh it" then try to boot the phone with a disscharged batt & then with a little charge in it. i`m serious & it wont hurt the battery.

Realy strange! So maybe chip, which is steering the charging process gone crazy and didn't stopped charging and something may burned. But it's only my opinion! Cheers! Herbi

well the battrys been taken out for more than an hour now and i tried to put it on but still i only get the start screen

i even left it in the start up screen hoping that it would take really long to load but after 30 minutes it was still at the start up screen

i just need pachy to confirm my post about his idea and ill try it

i overcharge my battrys from time to time (different mobiles) but all of them worked fine, it may be the actaul battry is malfunctoning maybe (i hope it is)

Yes Li type batteries are not as good as others at low temp, 10mins in the freezer wont hurt (only like on dash of car all night by accident) then as it warms it will revive. (don`t leave th battery in the phone to warm up though because the temp difference could attract condensation) just try booting with a very cold battery.you have nothing to loose.put it in a plastic bag to stop it getting wet terminals.

I`m saying try it cold, but clean the contacts on it first to make sure they are nice & dry. a new battery may be dear & it may not be the cause.
