Just a few general questions really, wondering if you guys can answer them!
Thanks!

I just bought a SE C905 and I'm loving it if I'm honest!

I have a few questions:
1. Is there a way to turn off all internet on my phone except for when I enable Wifi? - The reason being I don't want to be spending extra money each month.

2. Is there like a list that tells you which applications are free and wont cost etc?

3. How do I know my phone is up to date and is it necessary to update?

4. Does it cost to watch BBC iPlayer or Youtube? (seeing as I have a YouTube application on the phone + iPlayer links all over the phone)

Last question
5. Is receiving data if im connected on my wireless wifi at home free? i.e. streaming video from youtube, downloading free games from Sony Ericsson, using ebuddy etc.

Thanks if you can answer any of these questions. If this forum does +rep i will rep you (if i can)
yea g

Erm, it shouldn't change to MMS when sending to mulitple recipients?
mine stays @ Sms when i send

What network you on? cos i know my firends Vodafone C902 makes all messages MMS as standard but unless he puts MMS items in it, it doesn't cost him more
be sure your doing it all right (i know it sounds silly but people do that lol)

Think this has been covered elsewhere on this forum (i'll try & find link) but think it was discussed its a bug in the firmware (if i remember correct) as quite a few other people were finding the same thing.

Are you sure it's just a bug? I've been avoiding putting smileys in my texts for who knows how long... =p

Think smileys was ok, just remember a discussion somewhere about the C905 turning SMS's into MMS's when sent to multiple recipients & obviously people being billed for multiple MMS by their operators rather then the free/cheaper texts in their talk plans.

Just found this on the vodafone forum from one of their eForum team members

"Hi everyone,

This is a known issue with the C902- I think it's if you try and send more than 11 SMS messages at once normally, the phone tries to send as an MMS instead. I've fed this back before, so hopefully on a future software version it'll be fixed.

Thanks,

Tom

eForum Team"

I'm sure i've seen this discussed regarding Orange as well and reading the full post on the vodafone site does seem to clarify its a 'network branded' phone firmware problem.
