One thing i believe the Sony Ericsson devices are lacking, is the ability to present Upcoming appointments and tasks to the user on the desktop/wallpaper.
The Nokia E series and Windows Mobile devices do this brilliantly with their Today screen.
I think Sony Ericsson are due to re-design their calendar/tasks system so that their phones are more business user friendly.
I am aware there is a small java app which you can set up to be the wallpaper, but this app was very plain and needed more work.

I like the java app route but thats because, i'm writting my own, that does exactly what I want but its still plain too ... just diplay ... which is good enough since I capture most of the things on PC or phone standard function.
