Not sure. AFAIK its not possible with free software.

You can make CID53 GDFS backups with the Linux XS++ 4 beta. I did it with my K800i. But you need to know a bit of Linux. Using a livecd and setting up internet access to install the needed libs/dependencies is needed, apart from that it's pretty simple. Check the se-nse forums for guides.

thanks all, I did the firmware upgrade without backup gdfs by now, honestly I thought was easier to do it (the backup I mean)...
However, why is it necessary internet access? I could download files before to do it, and, could I run linux as a virtual machine (vmware)? Using xp...

cheers

You could download the dependencies of the XS++ for linux but they depend on what distro you use. So Id recommend having internet access so the package manager can satisfy them. Ubuntu is a good choice as their live/install cd has a fully working desktop with easy to use networking. Using a VM is not recommended at all due to the USB bridges between host and guest being buggy and not reliable.

A Linux livecd, such as the Ubutnu installation CD. Refer to this thread for more information on what to use and which libs/dependencies to install:

GDFS is different for each phone, besides how will you restore the GDFS on a CID53 phone if you don't want/can't use PhoneXS for Linux?

No. JDFlasher only but its very 'hit and miss' I'm afraid. W200 is notoriously difficult to patch.
