Well you have the original unedited picture right? That is the one you can upload to the gallery.
So upload the unedited one to the gallery and then post the edited one here. Then you will be fine |

Holy cr... that is an amazing pic Raiderski!
Itīs just the little "orbs" above the lights that bothers me a bit but those are so easily cloned away in a photo program.. Brilliant shot! |

sad, its not original (cant remember my k800 had 1 sec exposure at night )
(but the rules are any modding, editing or tweaking.... so go for it)
still, if i "made" the rules (which i dont ) i should decide just original pictures.
(think thats more fair in a photo-competition, a bit weird when a k700 have better quality then a C905 ....you follow me...anyway, thats just my opinion)

well. like i said..... its not original
(cant remember my k800 use 1sec exposure in a iso.100 shot at night.....he he)
then its not hard to understand "how" a k800 can produce such good night quality
im not saying its a bad shot (its vibrant and nice)...i just saying its more fair with original pics in a competition.
anyway..the rules allows tweaking...so go for it.

thanks guys! I appreciate your opinions

I only reached for the real abilities of the camera in K800, I mean longer exposure time. if exceeding a limit of original driver means lost of originality, let it be - small loss in relation to the effect in some way this can be seen as unfair competition, but from the other side we are allowed to post process photo. I'm weak in post processing therefore I prefer to take care of the good effect straight from the camera
one more thing about post processing, it's nice to see this rule in competition. original but weak photo can be used as a semi-finished product for wonderful processing. sometimes it's the only way to reveal the whole beauty of photo

The K800i with the Raiderski driver can take amazing pictures at night. The trick is to have a really steady hand and not move the camera at all. I've taken some pretty nice night shots with it, almost in complete darkness, you can find those in the K800i driver thread. I doubt the halo's are edited in with photoshop, I got the same sort of halo's around street lights at night, it has probably to do with the long exposure.
