Also, if you look at GSMArena's pics of Idou you'll notice that it's a grease magnet. Hopefully it's not that bad on the retail version.

Hmmm . . . I don't know if I should mention this but . . . (SE Fanboys STOP reading past this point . ), it will use exactily the same gorgeous display the 5800 uses ! Of course, for symbian s60 lovers is ideal (low power consumption, brilliant colors, resistive touch etc etc) A pity it does not have 5800's audio connector. Still not sure about HD video rec. yet  fingers crossed though

 mario you made my day! if ever you read news or watch youtube videos. idou has a 640x320 resolution. not 640x360, which makes it one of the very few 16:9 phones. and if you think 5800 screen is already gorgeous then you may have a look at X1 and touch HD screen as well how would you like to call them? by the way it's nice to see you nokia fans back in action

Idou has 360x640 resolution screen since that's the standard of the new S60 5.0. The guy in the video made a mistake in saying that it has a 320x640 display, because thats not even 16:9. 
Besides that I hardly believe that Idou's display is the same as that of the 5800. They might have the same technology and maybe some other similar points but that's about it imo.
From the videos it looks better than the 5800 screen (at least in my eyes). |

Idou will only come out when symbian foundation is ready and that isnt for another 7 months + , tbh i think the only reason why se announced the idou is because they have nothing revolutionary to offer why else would they talk about a product so early?? Same applies to the x1 they announced that at very early stages and what else came from se? Nothing |
