Best contract for unlimited text/unlimited internet? |

Hello
I'm looking for a contract that offers unlimited text/unlimited internet for max monthly cost of £15.
The best I have found so far is 3's offer, however I am a bit wary of this as I understand a lot of mobiles other that the ones provided by 3 have probleming using these sims. This offer comes with the INQ1 which I'm not too keen on and therefore will be looking to use it with my current mobile (N82 - is that a dirty word here???)/future mobile.
So, any awesome deals out there please?

To the best of my knowledge there is no such things as real unlimited mobile internet in the UK. They advertise as unlimited but when you check the small print in the ads it always has a cap, which makes it limited in my view. How they can away with this is a mystery to me.
Let's take Web-n-Walk from tmobile, I had this in Holland for 10 euro a month ,and whilst limited to 128kbit, it is 100% unlimited I listen to streaming internet radio all day long and connected it to my laptop when in need for some internet. There was no cap. Here in the UK Web-n-Walk has a 3GB cap and costs 15 pound (17.50 euro) a month. Thought they do not advertise as unlimited, 3GB even on a mobile is not much for a month worth of email checking, youtube watching on the train and some surfing, and listening to podcasts and internet radio.
Vodafone however does advertise and sell as unlimited mobile internet and they have a cap at 500MB it is just crazy the advertising watchdog lets them get away with it. It is like an all you can eat buffet, unless you eat more than 3 plates. Unlimited should be really unlimited, put a speed cap and manage your network in such a way customer can use their speed 24/7 without hinder to others, if other countries can do this with both normal and mobile internet, why can't the UK. Don't be tricked by them telling you monkey tales (this rant also semi applies to the broadband topic here).

O2 unlimited is rather unfair. Unlimited texts is 12000 which isn't THAT bad but there internet is only 200mb but you get told off if you go above 250 |

On o2 sim only its 19.58 for 1200txts 600mins and unlimitd internet. If u commit to 12 month contract its 800mins 1600 txts and unlimitd internet. And when i phned i was told i was told that if u go sustantialy over 4 or 5 months running they bar u frm using it. And your way off the mark with 250kb. U should be ok with 2gb or so

un⋅lim⋅it⋅ed - adjective
1. not limited; unrestricted; unconfined: unlimited trade.
2. boundless; infinite; vast: the unlimited skies.
3. without any qualification or exception; unconditional.
Any mobile internet with a cap at 250MB, 500MB, 1GB, 100GB is *not* unlimited. Crickey, I'd expected the Brits would know the English language

Yeah, still a great deal. I'll sell the phone and get around £200, so deduct that from cost of 18 months line rental and I'll be paying just £3.88 per month! Lovely jubbly!
This tariff normally cost £30 so I got 50% off.

Well be warned you do NOT get 2gb with o2 you get 200mb limit and a warning text after you go over 250mb. I got told by an o2 manager.
O2 are the best network though
EXTRA: more bad news for you. The unlimited browsing is for use with your phone only and not used as a modem. So dont go over the top using your phone to power your computer internet! Because your not covered and could recieve a large charge |

Ok, to clear this up, that is complete bollocks, just because one person has mis-informed you doesn't nessecarily make it fact.
I'm going to make this clear, just once more, O2's Unlimited Internet bolt-on is 'unlimited' with an excessive usage policy. This is different from a 'fair usage policy' in that if O2 deem your usage exessive they will bar you from using it.
For example, using your phone as a modem for your computer is excessive, using your phone to download movies and music all day is excessive.
They have a 'rough' limit of 3GB a month, NOT 250MB, can I make this any more clear? And even then, if you go over 3GB they'll simply ring you and ask you nicely to 'slow down a bit'. If you persist over and over, then you'll have it taken from you.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

How did you get unlimited web on a £30 p/m tariff, they so far have only been telling me that to get web I need to initially be on a £35 p/m+ tarrif in which they'll boost my texts and give me £15 p/m off? |

@number1 I'm on 3UK and received a warning text when I approached 1GB. Not pushed over this yet though but will do soon. :)
