I'm using twitter now, but only as an anonymous follower (read that as lurker!) of some people to see what the hell its all about!
Well... I figured if Apple are embedding it into iOS 5 its worth a passing look rather than just totalling ignoring it

I never understood twitter at first either but i know understand how addictive it becomes with news as well as mobile tech news and everything else you follow all updated in real time.
A small example:the Osama bin laden capture story first broke on twitter when a local tweeter and witness on the ground in the pakistan town first tweeted the incident when the whole world was still oblivious to the story.
twitter has become very powerful and probably why Apple has integrated into iOS 5
