@ michael, i have flashed my x1 with the uk generic R2A rom aswell, however I do so very slight improvements, but do not experience any of the problems that you have pointed out above |

Another change in this ROM R2:
Now Opera is the default browser, before that was internet explorer.

You can change that back using XperiaTweak. Its a freeware program that is VERY usefull. With this you can also disable this crappy phone sleep mode when on a call. At least if you need to see the screen, you should disable this.

Yes you have right, Xperia Tweak is a musthave.
I have change the default program with Resco File Explorer |

It seems like all the web files are still associated with Opera even after defaulting it to Explorer with XperiaTweak.

My X1 never gets into the sleep mode when am in a call and i didnt tweak it!
That actually annoys me. It begins clicking on the screen here and there.

Changing this with Resco Explorer seems to be ok, but now after more and more try, registry is corrupt, Opera work like a charm, I will make a hard-reset and try another way. |

Why would you redirect files from Opera to IE?
Opera is much better... IMO.

I work better with IE, I think it's personal IE or Opera. |

Are you perhaps using XperiaTweak?
And it's option to NOT turn off display during call ?
