  • X-Fire SuperImage™ (gives real colour reproduction);
  • disabled bilinear filtering (gives more sharpening, also improving quality);
  • added camera postprocessing;
  • added image filtering and noise reduction (thanx to brazzuka);
  • reduced sharpness for more detail;
  • autofocus from K800;
  • new buffers

850 KB buffer for 100x60 snap;
850 KB buffer for 160x120 snap;
850 KB buffer for 320x240 snap;
920 KB buffer for 640x480 snap;
1000 KB buffer for 1280x960 snap;
1200 KB buffer for 1600x1200 snap;
1200 KB buffer for 1632x1088 snap;
1200 KB buffer for 1632x1244 snap;

  • 98% compression for "Fine";
  • 94% compression for "Normal";

Tried your cam driver... It works really really well...

It's much better than the one I was using earlier... Great white balance, colors, contrast, etc... But I have only tried it indoors at close-up yet and can't say how distant shots would look like... I found the smoothness to be a bit higher in few close-up shots I have taken and the result may worsen if the distance increases...

Will try to take some snaps in few day and post it here...

I had my problem with my camera hardware, Always out of focus when i take pictures with distance 1-2 metres
What's wrong with my module?

Hi xfire, do those buffer sizes equal the file size as well ?

also, a bit off topic, during video mode does your night mode shortcut # "7" work ? my hasn't been working since i updated it to r6b, now using r8ba. I'm pretty sure it worked when I first bought the phone on 2007.

youre k550i camera module is broken. Go to the nearest SE service center for changing a new camera module
I own K550i Pearl White R8BA024 08W03 and K810i Golden Ivory R8BE001 09W03

I not like file size result with this camdriver. Large...! +-600kb in 2 mp resolution. But, all is well..

I saw that it needs some sharpening. But that's easy. Try to have your protection glass clean (i don't have it anymore:D ). I've sold my K550, so the camdriver modding will go a bit slower . Thanx for feedback .

well its quite good but could u do increase the video fps to 25 (should be stable) its better to have a slightly darker but smoother video playback instead of it lookin like a slideshow..lol...neways good wrk..Xfire
