I'm enjoying this phone a lot!
It's battery life is good cuz of the Oled and the amp of the battery. |

I had one for 2 weeks but turn it back to the store... but maybe in 1 or 2 months i buy another again if nokia firmware updates solve the restarts problems at least.
Most positive things:
-Size , looks and height
-Gps signal (sometimes better than my tomtom)
-S60 3rd FP2
-Battery lasts from 1 to 4days
-Best screen i ever seen
-Audio quality on wired earphones
-Acessing files is way faster than n95 8gb
Negative:
-Slider mechanism (It moves a lot AND I MEAN A LOT when itīs open)
-A lot of restarts! (Especially when playing games, listen to music and texting at same time ,etc,... I didnt see nothing like this since P990) lol
-Camara is a little worse than n95 8gb
-The keypad and dpad is very worse than on n95 8gb
-Audio quality via Bluetooth is worse than n95 8gb (just a little)
-Screen in direct sun light is very worse than n95 8gb
-Battery cover too noisy
All i can say is that i enjoy the phone but there are some things nokia need to correct. For its price tag and size, theres no better phone on the market yet but all this negative points together keeps me away from it right now
Have you notice some problems with yours n85 slider mechanism or too much restarts when playing a long time with it?

I didn't like the fact that it crashes a lot, seems slower than the other n-series, too plasticky, wish the screen was bigger. Fingerprint magnet.

Let's see:
- I looove the display.
- The slider mechanism is fine in mine, I mean moves a little when is open but not too much, I had a W850 and both looks the same in movement.
-Looove the camera! much better than SE
-The keypad and dpad are fine with me, just takes a some time to get used to it.
-I had a problem with the FM transmitter cuz of the battery cover, but I fixed it with some aluminum foil , besides I don't use it very often.
-So far it hasn't restarted.
-Yes, Its a fingerprint magnet.
But I wouldn't change it for any phone now, I just love all the features. No way I'd go back to that crappy SE g900 I had. |

Whats the screen like in sunlight? I ask cos i read some OLED screens are bad in sunlight. |

The screen problem with direct sunlight is that you hardly read a thing on it if you look to screen normaly, but if you change the angle view (more to the side) than theres absolutly no problem. Its strange, its nothing like the other nokia displays but i think we can live with that, its just a matter of positioning the phone. The big problem with this phone is the OS ...FP2 is not as stable as FP1. And i dont think the restarts are because the phone run out of ram like happen with p990 most of the tim, cause sometimes i only have one aplication opened... Playin Ngage games, or surfing on web for about 10-15min the phone 90% restarts at least 1 time |

The Oled display is a little hard to see in direct sunlight, but I manage myself to see it.
