I've tried and tried to install Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 but the CAB file gets to 5% then I get a message "Installation of Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 for M2MBAB was unsuccessful".

Has anyone else had this problem?

This was a paid for download from Handango and neither they nor Microsoft nor SE will help because they all say it's not their problem.

I have 1.6 installed , mine was an upgrade from 1.5 and it required 1.5 to be installed before the upgrade would work

is yours an upgrade or a full 1.6 version?

It's the full version. I'd like to try to see if 1.5 will install but can't find where to download it.

Yes, it installs here too but at the end before it states: successful install, it gives some error message. But then all seems to work.

Battery looses about 10% every 8 hours just for that, so it seems.

Are you installing it directly in your phone as cab or through the pc? Whatever it is, try the other way. I install via cab file direct in X1. [addsig]

I've tried installing using both Activesync and also by copying the CAB file to my X1, still no luck.

I found a download of 1.5 and tried installing that too. I get an error message when it loads saying 'You've chosen to install to "", recommended install is to Memory, continue?" If I do continue it keeps crashing.

I purchsed the version on the Handango webiste. I did look for both the Smartphone and PocketPC versions, I wasn't aware there's more than one.

So you have the pockepc one?!!!?! Because that is what the X1 is, a pocketpc, NOT a smartphone! [addsig]

OK the file download from Handango is "spengintl.exe". Would I be correct in assuming that this is the SmartPhoneEnglishInternational version and that the Experia requires the PocketPC version, if such a thing exists?
