X1 - Unsent messages go to 'draft' rather than 'outbox' |

When my X1 doesnt have a signal (which is common, i think I need to change my band settings (o2 uk))... the message "Unable to send your message" is displayed and the SMS is saved in my drafts folder.
On all other phones I have had, unsent messages are sent to the outbox, and then are later sent automatically when they signal is reaquired.
Is this meant to be like this? Is there anyway of changing this?
Thanks / Regards

yes it is
seems obvious that when you want to send a message, and you can't then it should wait until a signal is available then send it. Putting it in the draft folder is just wring
Thanks for your feedback

My O2 xdaII also did that, maybe it's a problem native to WM devices?
