Since i debranded and have now flashed the software again its working better than ever and them problems have vanished. Its working faster too.

CPW now selling the C510 with 50% discount, so they're using the normal price, nice marketing, you sell a phone for a month at twice the normal price, you then go back to the normal price and claim 50% discount. Anyways, this might be of use to those wanting to pick up an unbranded/unlocked C510 for 100 quid.

Quick question - have finally retired my old K750i (nothing wrong with it but had terrible "I wants" for new phone! Really loving the C510 so far...)
However, how do I get the contact picture to come up when receiving a text message? The contact picture pops up when I have an incoming call but all I get is a little letter icon up the top of the screen to alert me when a text arrives. I'm missing my boyfriend's lovely mug!
Apologies if it's a dopey question!

Ok go to settings then scroll to New Events. Enter on that and select Pop Up rather than Activity Menu. That way his pic shall pop up. Enjoy.

I get around 2 to 3 days with usage though daily charging is required if heavy use of internet. Battery lasts well for me as does every SE. I have noticed occasionally the one bug i noticed with the mirrored split screen only happens sometimes when you switch off 3G. Hardly ever happens but once phone is off then back on its gone. Very strange.

Does anyone know when or how often SE release new firmware? Its confusing me it says there is R1DA035 software but when i update it says i already have latest software. I have R1DA032. Help
