Copied from http://www.migweb.co.uk/forum[....]cs/380338-c902-debranding.html ,this works very well, I tried it myself on my O2 branded C902

Debrand Sony Ericsson C902

Step 1: Download Kulakendi Client HERE

http://www.mediafire.com/?xdodthdz4zr

Step 2: Download the C902 Main Flash file HERE

http://www.mediafire.com/?ozhzidyagmn

Step 3: Download the C902 Filesystem HERE

http://www.mediafire.com/?ymyjzlkhdtl

Step 4: Open Kulakendi Client and load the MAIN and FS you just downloaded from above link (For username/password just any old rubbish.)
WARNING: DO NOT TICK ANY BOXES ESPECIALLY FINALIZE!

Step 5: Click Flash phone, and wait till completed (ignore errors at end)

Step 6: Download your CUSTPACK HERE

http://www.mediafire.com/?ytmnynommak

Step 7: Download A2Uploader HERE and run the "Filesystem Tool" (connect holding "2" and inserting USB when asked)

http://www.mediafire.com/?nld31z3zjw2

Step 8: Go to TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM and drag all the 16 or so files from Custpack into there.

Step 9: Shutdown A2Uploader Filesystem Tool, Remove battery and reinsert battery.

Step 10: Turn on phone and your phone is now debranded!!!

This wont unlock the phone but it will remove all the branding like T-Mobile/Vodafone/O2 screensavers and pictures you normally can't delete.

To check the locks on you phone press -> * <- <- * <- * Then go to Service Info>Sim locks. If they are all open your phone is already unlocked, even if the only one locked is Extended its lock to one network.

This worked for me but if it goes tits up for you it aint my fault. If it does it's not the end of the world you can get online companies to reflash it for £10-£20.

If you have changed network and taken your number with you, you get an icon at the top of the screen. If you Debrand it gets rid of it. This is the only way I know of getting it to ****. The icon is a red phone facing down with a 45º arrow bouncing off it. It means; All incoming calls are diverted to a defined number.

This is complete bollocks, almost bricked my phone, it wouldn't start up after following this procedure.

Fortunately using the update service restored it and I managed to de-brand by following the FAR simpler procedure here:-

(Only requires A2-uploader to copy a custom XML file to phone, then running update service)
