Why would you need to focus in landscape mode? Landscapes are too far away and vast to be in any need of close-up focusing. That's the whole point of the landscape mode!

If your expecting results like that, then get the INNOV8 or just a proper digital camera. Not a good idea to try to replace a digicam with a phone if your THAT fussy.

panonski want to use 'twilight landscape' scene to make a bit clearer (longer exposure time and lower ISO) shot of the object near the camera without flash and with autofocus

there is no scene in Cyber-shot for this kind of photography

THIS PHOTO HAS SOME KIND OF "ESATO FILTER" / I notice that when I upload it /

Here is CROP /obviously it can't hide this watercolor effect /

Here is more CROP

AS YOU CAN SEE ..... THERE IS PLENTY OF LIGHT....

THIS IS THE REASON WHY "C905" CAN'T NEVER BE CALLED

"BEST PHOTOCAMERA"

This is sad.

no, you cannot take picture in weak light and then try to prove that sharpness is weak. it will be weak always in weak light conditions

if interpolation theory is true then you should be able to change 5MP picture from C902 to 8MP

Owned an Innov8 prior to a C905, pretty much equal, Xenon takes all after dark though, and Pannini or whatever, i think we pretty much get the picture that your kinda obsessed with dissing the C905, stop talking out your rear orifice and move along the bus.

BullsEye !!

There is no reason to go on ranting about the same issue:

- dissapointment is acceptable as a personal reaction, but when one person has had his say once, that should be enough.

Anyone who expects 400% "better" images just because a camera has 400% more pixels, is just ignorant.
Swallow that.
And these are not even cameras - they're telephones.

Basta.

P.S. The subject of digital photography can be studied at many other sites.

( I usually recommend ImagingResource.com , where you can learn quite a few good points on photography technique as well as check out thorough professional laboratory standard tests of real cameras. And no, they don't test phones w. 'cameras' ... )
