Well, since I was bought this phone, camera does not work remarkable job. It seems to me,

the 8.1 MP isn't help anything at all in his photo abilities. I really don't know what the hell is wrong ! ! And I'm really pissed of!

In phone is 0042 firmware, and 0.91 DarkMagician camdriver.

Look the photos and U tell me what's wrong.

All of them, were shoot with pretty much light, I beleive so. Automatic in all states.

Maybe I was change the light conditions in MENU, but I was not touching anything else.

All of them, since I bought the phone, have TO MUCH F'N NOISE, and I can get rid of it !

I look the other photos, and even in some pics you posted I see slight clue of that issue. Many pics was shoot in daylight or with flash,
and in that conditions C905 seems to done god job.

In all other conditions, He's worst then my first K750 ! And beleive me, it's true!

Ok, now the photos. Look at the color. There's no color at all which doesn't have some kind of dots, or noise.

And some of them are even in other color range !!

Like green one !

Well folks, I'm trully, trully dissapointed with this camera. It's going to garbage can tomorow.

There is no pic without flash, or in day light, that doesn't look like smudge and dirty

look here

look here...

SOME KIND OF YELLOW DOTS OL OVER THE PIC.

AND NOW SURPRISE !! SAME PIC WITH K750i !

now U tell me, is that a camera or piece of shit. K750 have even less noise then the C905.

have a nice day. (maybe it's the firmware, maybe it is wrong product of mine, maybe it's wrong camera driver, maybe, maybe..... I'm sick of it)

Shitty quality!
I own C905 Self, but the pictures you posted was extremely disappointing! Specially when you zoom at an object!

Those are indoor pictures taken without a flash, using house lights as the source. Even an expensive stand alone digital camera would have some noise.
You need to enable the flash in those situations, and the K750i pics you have shown here have just as much noise as the C905. With poor light, comes poor pictures.

True!

In fact, use the flash to see the difference for the quality!

look here.

The juice in glass particularly. Do you see some kind of strange efekt in it?

Like "solarize", but pic is in normal mode obviously.

That effect is some kind of bug noise. When the light conditions are just a little bit poor, this software doesn't do a god job with pic.

For a camera which came near 5 years from K750, and with 4 time bigger MP sensor,

I think it's a lousy job.

For all your troubles I think you should just sell it.

Again, with poor light conditions a digital camera will always give noise of some kind.
The sensor is not 4 times bigger by the way. This is a mobile phone camera we are talking about here. The sensor is tiny and won't perform like an ordinary stand alone camera, which has a full size sensor and a much much bigger lens.
Because of this tiny sensor there is large amounts of noise to cope with, and the C905 has a very aggressive noise reduction which can take away sharpness and cause blurring and "watercolour" effects.
I think you are expecting a little too much from a mobile phone camera to produce fantastic pics in low light with no flash. It simply won't happen.

You may get blurry and distorted colour photos if the lens is dirty eg. greasy hands....

@panonski

Actually StevenC is right. It happened to me with a C702 when I tried to take a pic after eating some nachos, and some bits of sauce got into the lens - I know it sounds idiotic but it really happened lol.

Still I think I'm getting this phone once its price goes down a bit, I don't care about the picture quality because I know what mobile phone cameras are for. Quick snaps where you don't really need details and photographic skills.

I agree with gtr83 and martymcfly. Phone cams are snapshot cams, even if they're 8 MP. If you don't expect too much, the circumstances are right and you have a feeling for photography, then the results might sometimes surprise you in a positive way.
I think C905's biggest problem is the sensor, way too small for 8 MP. But heck, it sells, doesn't it.
If it was only 3 MP, overall quality probably would be better. And how large do you want your prints? Are they gonna be a meter wide? My prints won't.
My desktop screen has 2.3 MP and I'm very satisfied if my phone-photos look good on that.
So panonski, have you tried setting your cam to a lower pixelcount?
