How do i download free using my operamini2.06, cos i can browse free with it. Pls also send me the settings.

I just read this from another forum, but i've forgotten his name, sorry..
Just click 1, shortcut for dls, then change the www to wap.amob.com or whatever site you have stated in the opera mini server in your network settings.. |

@pLu: That downloading trick only works in the Philippines. It does not work on other network operators on other countries. That can work but you have to use a different URL and not wap.amob.com@. The format would like this:
www.example.com@www.download.com/application.jar

wap.amob.com@ works on both globe and smart but in general, @tricks are different depending on the network. Usually, it's a site that can be browsed for free like wap.smart.com.ph for smart network.

I have tried all the tricks I know but i can't still download free of charge with my opera 2.6 let alone the 4.1 version. Pls I need the gurus in this forum to post me a detailed instructiion on how to go about it....i use SEK770i and N70. |

You won't really be able to download for free using opera mini mod v2.06 unless you can also browse for free. The download trick depends on the trick that you will be using to access free internet.

I can now browse for free using a @trick peculiar to users in my country but I can't download for free. It always tells me: "HTTP timed out error 504."....If u know what that means give me a PM on how to rectify the hitch tnx. |

Use the same @trick that you're using for browsing on downloading. By the way, what @trick are you using?

The @trick am using is %2fa%. It was formally '%2f', but no sooner had we started enjoying the free browsing than MTN blocked it. So that's the current one. |
