Hey,

So, my W890i sorta accidentally got ran over by a truck in the mud. Now the phone didn't physically break, and it's all cleaned up quite nicely, however nothing now displays on the screen. I know the screen isn't broken, because the LEDs light up. Also, the phone still functions, such as if I dial a number it will still ring. So, I'm thinking it possibly could be a connection problem between the screen and whatever cable connects them. Does that sound probably? Or is the phone as good as dead?

given it was in mud - you may also have a "water damage" issue as well
as or instead of a hardware failure.

First thing to do when phone falls into liquid is to remove battery immediately. Otherwise phone being water damaged is unavoidable.

If you have your ways in disassembly open the phone and check it by yourself or send it to service center.
