Xperia X1i keypad issue |

Anyone...please help...I have done a hard reset on my new XperiaX1i but the issue still persist. What is the response when you press the "*" (minus quotation) button 5 times. I am still getting *p,q,r,s (in that sequence). I had expected it to be "*****" (minus quotation). All other keys, including #, are working fine e.g. I can press # as fast as I want and it will always display #. Hardware problem or software problem? |

In the telephone program i get the same behaviour.
Press the * slightly slower and you will get just *****.

I assume you mean the screen telephone keypad. If so, mine reacts differently as it cycles through *, p, w, *, p, w......... Wierd! |

This is something to do with entering long numbers with pauses into phone numbers P means pause, Im not sure what w means. |
