hi everyone
wondering if anyone can help with a problem im having, ive just bought a c905 and love it apart from one small problem.
i have a kenwood bluetooth cd player in my car and it worked with my previous phone (lg Secret) no problem, it would connect then download my phonebook automatically.
but with the c905, it connects ok, but doesnt download my phone book, sometimes it does, although this is hardly ever. if i go to my contacts on the c905 and send them all via bluetooth this works fine. but for some reason they will hardly ever automatically syncronise, ive made sure both the cd player and the c905 have the latest firmware as well.
because i have the latest software and everything and it worked 100% ok with my LG, it leads me to think it might be a setting somewhere on the phone that decides whether it auto-syncronises or not.
can anyone help with this? |

Oh dear. It seems the A200 platform and bluetooth issue is still present in the recent handsets. This has been going on since the first introduction of the A200 platform and still hasn't come up with a fix (I've been in contact with them for the last 9 months and tried everything they suggest and no resoultion to the problems)
All 4 C905's I've tried will not work properly with any of our bluetooth car headunits (JVC, Pioneer and Sony) or most of the bluetooth headsets in the HBH range.
Issues range from sync problems, connection dropping after a certain amount of time while on a call, not even connecting at all to any device and so on.
Its not just the C905. I own every A200 platform phone released to date and the problems appear on all of them. All my A200 phones are sim free and no branding on them.
Only ones that do not have any problems are the A100 platform and Symbian handsets.
Have not tried the X1 yet as I've not got around to buying one atm.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > My Devices > [select your device] > Options > Allow connection > Always allow
It makes a big difference with my Nokia CK-15W.

hi, thanks for getting back to me
yea i have this allow connection setting to on, its just so strange, it connects up fine, the cd player display even says downloading phone booking, and then download sucessful..but when i try to look it just says no data.
it really does not make sense at all, especially as my previous phone worked 100% of the time with no problems, its like theres a setting that maybe stopping it auto syncronising, im stumped, and really losing patience with this!! |

can no one help with then?
there must be a solution, if it was just not compatible then it would not work all the time, but like i say it does work sometimes, maybe 10% of the time,
im pulling my hair out! |

my c905 works fine with a jvc avx33. My w960 worked with it as well. Nokias had probs especially n95. Same with my tomtom. Never had a prob with Se phone. But always had problems with a windows mobile or smartphone nokia.

I had a weird problem when I first got my SE G900 with my Parrot MK6100.
The Parrot kept on restarting, so I just did a factory reset on my MK6100 and next time i switched on the engine, it picked up my phone, synchronized and been working fine ever since.
I think it was due to the initial pairing, so would be no-harm to try it on your car radio. |
