Suprisingly i'm not talking about BROD.. lol

I opened my k850 up today and seem to have sucessfully fixed my touch buttons by cleaning the gold-coloured sensors below the LCD.

Really happy if they are fixed, but that has brought me another problem - the vibrate module is no longer working - wont work after hard reset, in the service menu, when a call or text is received and no short burst when the phone is turned on.

So I know it can't be a software issue.

I did not get a warranty with my k850 (bad idea) hence the DIY to avoid third-party service centres which cost $$$.

Any help as to what the vibration module looks like would be appreciated.

It could simply be a bad contact with the vibrator and the board. Disassemble the phone again and raise the vib's contacts. it should be ok then

I disassembled again, and it started working so I quickly put it back together and it has been fine since :S
