@pakman786 my k850 transfers over bluetooth ca 2007 BlueTooth v2.0

this is bad, the fake brochure made its way onto GSMARENA and eng/giz love picking up stories from them. its very sad though.

yeah I know, my k750 from 2005 does as well, but the current android devices like HTC Hero for example are not capable of doing simple BT-filetransfer. and thats why I asked here, coz nearly every single SE-Device is equipped with nice BT-Features (with Filetransfer being one of them ). Will the latest revision of android offer this as well?

I think Android 2 should offer it. SE are not the types to skimp on connectivity, and in my experience have always had very good Bluetooth in all phones. So I doubt they would start using an OS like Android until they can definitely have things such as Bluetooth working as their consumers would expect.

People generally blame the phone manufacturer, not the OS developer, so having useless Bluetooth would make SE or any mobile manufacturer look bad. I bet there has been a huge call from all manufacturers to get Bluetooth in there and working fully.

Maybe, but I get the feeling SE will want Rachael's announcement to be something special, so they'll want all the focus on Rachael. So probably not, in my opinion.

I have a feeling that Xperia Pureness will be released on 3rd Novermber - the same day when Rachael will be announced. In the official press release for the London brand event, it's mentioned that Pureness will be officially launched in November 2009 through selected retail distribution channels in key cities around the world - so does it mean, it will be availalbe immediately? But if Pureness will be officialy launched and available almost immediately, there is a chance that we will see Rachael (or should I say, Xperia Infinity) in shops sooner than we think (somebody said something about first 9 weeks of 2010). By the way, the new logo from "whatsnext" site below:

would do really well if Infinity was on the shelves at the same time as it was being exhibited at MWC in Feb. Maximum hype followed by retail availability just a few days after.

That would be fantastic.
