W508 looks soo.... weird (in a good way). Looks almost like WhiteEye's concepts in the past, with those colourful patterns. |

W508... really look like w707 but minus tht cool looking navigation keypad we saw on spy pic.
not sure...for the naming it is not high end...so if from mid range point of view...look interesting. |

the only thing i miss is a LED-flashlight....
thought I wouldn't miss the torch but since I have the w910 I know better

And you guys said nothing at CES.......
But wow as i said we would get an appetizer, And its one hell of an appetizer. Im now thinking save money for W705 or save for a W508. I say the second one as its Q2. That means its out somewhere between april-june so yay i got me a birthday present. Im used to 2.2 inches and the design is a real wow factor. So yeah W508 for sure. |

Apparently the two announcements yesterday weren't enough for SE. The Vodafone Exclusive W715 was announced today. Basically a W705 with built in GPS.

For vodafone exclusively but as i stated in another thread that dont matter for me. And as i said before 2009 is a real damn tempting year in the walkman area. Its about time they let go of shiny new cybershots that go wow for us. They make it feel like its 2005. Real damn fine year in my opinion. |

So, according to you, what was new in these anouncements? C510 is only a C702 with a cosmetic re-draw, nothing more. And same for W508 wich is nothing new, just a re-draw of Z770i.
Sorry, dude, but nothing new with that. Just marketing to su*k a little bit more the customers...
