Its like there is a drought on the leaks. They're certainly playing their cards very close to their chest this time around. There should be some massive announcements this summer if they wanna fight back.

Exactly why I expect great things this year from SE. They are certainly hiding something that could possibly be on par with Idou not on MP size but other stuff. I mean reese some low some mid and certainly high tier stuff will come. |

Well, he mentioned symbian foundation. What he said was that they took the same chasing/design and have made HW upgrades. The same thought behind the phone is there, business oriented with slide-out qwerty and descent cam.

It better not be a simple name change for iDou. I'd like an official Idou product announcement and with finalized design - eliminate that bulky lens cover, and make a smaller one, and finalized specs.

Possibly a Walkman.....with touch revealed next week. I would imagine a copy-paste of Idou but smaller. There is a Cybershot candybar phone somewhere (8MP+) but no idea when it is coming. Whatever is revealed, it will be a surprise and there should be something like Idou, that will be fresh and high end.
I'm hoping that  will get with the times. Nokia is preparing a lot of nice phones, they're looking to get everyone on a touchscreen phone regardless of high, mid or low end. The iPhone is also destined to be popular even though the specs are pretty lame. Also, LG and Samsung have 12MP camera phones and I suspect that they will be released before Idou.
The absolute minimum should be a new high end 'entertainment unlimited' phone. Leaks should happen a couple of hours before the announcement but I hoping that someone with the balls will give us some specs and pics sooner. |

i think 28th is the D-day for SE,if there are no reliable smartphone/high end phone announced, a lot of us will be leaving for good, i myself currently tempted with touch diamond 2, played with it last week and only good phones from SE will stand my way from getting that diamond..seriously |

Hmmm . . . Can it be, the huge financial losses SE posted + key layoffs, has something to do with a 'drying up' in leaked info? Of course, a stupid,impossible thought, coming from a 'SE foe'. However, please mods, do not delete this post - I intend to use it as futue reference.
