Sorry, but asking questions like that wont get you anywhere, you will have to wait like all of us for each little piece of info on SE products, usually Mizzle, Clauf & Badassman give out usefull info on rumours, keep a look out for any of there posts in the Rumour thread .

10 more days!

X2/X5 or whatever it is ... bring me a flush screen Xperia upgrade with better buttons, TV-Out @ 30fps+VGA or higher (720p) resolution, and a dedicated 3.5mm headset jack PLEASE please! Right now I'm considering any platform as an upgrade to my E71 but its got to be better in EVERYWAY for personal and corporate organizational use.

Bonus' would be HDMI out port. 30/120fps with DIVX support for VGA/720p video (using 64/128bit AAC audio) in ALL designated shipping models WORLDWIDE not just Europe would be fantastic!

Diamond2 looks like the new ZuneHD which in my mind looks HOT! Xperia still looks wicked.

My next phone will have to suit not just being my digicam but also my video recorder as that is the main source of photos & videos that I'll learn to edit when I get my MacBook first week of June.

^ Eomer over at MR said that the next X series is just a rehash of X1 and no one should have expectations from WinMo phones from SE this year. He's usually a reliable source.

WM 6.5 brings nothing really new at all so SE should skip producing WM phones and just wait for the advent of WM7. or they can put their budget in focus with idou which is still their most promising phone atm.

is anyone else bummed that samsung is putting OLED in every new model they put out and SE is sandbagging IDOU with a TFT LCD?

HUGE BATTERY SAVER i heard the i8910 has an EXCELLENT battery life because of the screen. shame really they could have really had a stellar outing with this phone to reclaim their position in the handheld mobile imaging sector.

3.5" XGA AMOLED 16mil ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor Graphics HW Accelerator, 3.5mm jack with a Dedicated DSP and a BIONZ chip from the Alpha DSLR line with a 32mb bus, 256MB of ROM, 64GB internal. i WISH they would call me up.

but that screen NEEDS to be AMOLED at the very least ... resistive TFT is old news, if it was a STANTEM resistive screen then i would say capacitive can sit back in the corner. resistive can be better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv3X5y-ajtc&fmt=18 and FAR FAR more accurate! so all you guys whining about capacitive, its not necessary.

the form factor is WAY better than the i8910 but they need to come correct if they are releasing this afterwards esp if the initial release prices are similar, only 6mos later SE should have better tech specs.

that camera looks to do some damage too ... for stills, there was one clip where it shows the video res to max out at VGA which again should NOT be the case baseline is now set at 720p for HIGH END DEVICES, if SE could churn that out at 30-60fps included with the specs above, they would have a winner on paper, and if they get the SFOS to work as smoothly as possible ... they would only need an app service, im sure they could piggy back off someone. ideally i would like to see android on this phone esp with the new cupcake/donut videos out showing some extraordinary progress in terms of the integration and quality of experience.

good luck SE the more time you waste pushing old tech the longer itll take before you have to put all your eggs in a basket like palm (webos).

@my ninja.

well I know of ONE phone that isn't even released yet that can record in HD video, and we don't know the Idou can't for definite yet do we? Also AMOLED!!!!! No thanks, I actually like to be able to see my screen in daylight. Not struggle and fail, OLED = FAIL. Far too many negatives for the plusses. Laptops still use TFT, so to state it's old tech is wrong, old but still better is more accurate IMO.

And the Palm Pre! Cramped keyboard, hardly any apps at launch and a 3.2mpx camera that cannot record ANY video out the box, now where did I see that before..........

The Pre is capable but it will take a year or 2 before it's up to scratch, like an iPhone it lacks features out the box. As for AMOLED, until they can match LCD TFT screens for daylight viewing I'm not really interested, after all it is a MOBILE phone.

Omnia HD has terrible battery life despite the OLED.

Quiet on the front. I personally think that Reese will be shown next week since its been leaked by PK but I'm hoping for more than just one phone.

Nokia has a square phone coming with a strange swivel mechanism.

Ill be damned if nokia releases a swivel and SE does nothing about competition.

AMOLED is no worse in daylight than TFT LCD the only phone that is better right now is the iPhone as much as i hate admitting that, but you guys need to get your facts strate about OLED/LCD and the i8910's batt life is pretty good:

"The great 3.7" display and the widely spaced apart stereo speakers make the Samsung Omnia HD a serious competitor to the dedicated portable multimedia player. Plus we got 5h and 30min of constant SD XviD playback time out of the battery with the brightness set to maximum. That should tell you something."

-gsmarena: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i8910_omnia_hd-review-349p5.php

but SE is in no position to release a phone that has sub par specs and expect to stand out to make their device the most wanted out of the bunch. thats all im trying to say is they either need an EXCELLENT OS/Platform or SPECTACULAR tech. i think that sony needs to step up and put out a PS3 type phone spec wise, it'd never get subsidized though.

i would just like to see them try, idou feels half baked ... the OLED thing is bothering me.
