Ah, while there is T707, there is also something called S312. Please let it be NOT SAGEM!
SEMC Blog posted xml file of S312 and it mentioned OpenWave Mobile Browser. So it will be Sagem, right?

Noo, not the stupid Sagem thing again. I totally hate that. SE screwed their whole gaming image with it imo. I hate you F305, i really hate you. |

Well now you can hate SE more. Athena is the succesor to the S302 dubbed as the 312. Dont expect much from it and here is the text from semcblog.
On the official site was leaked S302’s successor, which has well-known codename Athena. It’s S312 Snapshot™. S312 is low-end stick phone with simple design. It has 176×220 pixels screen and bad non-AF camera. Yet I don’t have more specification of the new phone. S312 Snapshot™ will be available in selected martets from Q3 2009.

I know. Don't see the whole point in that Snapshot series :s The camera's in that phones are just as bad as the camera's in other low-end phones |

Well the S500 was technology wizardry back in its day and if they evolved that it could have been easily been a hit series but no snapshot. Imagine S for seizure inducing light shows from your phone or stylish lights. But no snapshot. And the word screams poor mans cybershot. |

It's a cheap, low end phone. I dunno why people get so worked up over it when so many great phones have been unveiled recently. |

Can anybody give us a info about an update for A200?
I mean...all i want is a homescreen with more information and a chance to customize the look of the UI more than yet.
if you take a look on the w810i and then on the w705 you'll think that nothing has changed

Why would you fix something that isn't broken? A200 is fantastic as it is.

Don't get me wrong... I like A200 and I don't think it's broken but I don't understand why SE can't show more than the operator-name on the homescreen. Stylish icons would be just a bonus
The problem is that I had/have a P1i and I like to have calender-news on the homescreen...on a A200-phone because of the speed

Because its simple and effective. Unlike nokia. I hate the whole shortcut thing on the front screen. I got used to SE and well owning a nokia for 2 months wasnt pleasant. I kept on opening all these apps after pressing down cause i got used to contacts and such on the down button. And the shortcut thing that is the little box and arrows if you get a vodafone phone then the boxes from the shortcut area appear on the front screen without a hassle. And well i like it better if its all animated and funky instead of overcrowed shortcut things. |

Well if SE is smart.....you can disable the info-screen.
It should be an additional function.
Again - I like A200 too. It's functional and simple.
I don't want a nokia or something else.
My vision of the homescreen is that you can see it but you have to press a button to get "inside" the info-part and navigate through it. If you haven't done this and you press "down" you'll see the contacts like it is today.......just an idea.

And thats were my love for the old motorola style comes in. If you ever owned a V-180 or before you will know what i mean. Or even the V3. You can have a nice wallpaper and then the 4 buttons on the screen. I forget were i mapped the shortcuts more then twice so i see were your getting at. That is something im up for. |

The best Homescreen in my opinion is of the G700/G900... Almost like A200 phones but with desktop items too... And you have option to disable or switch to other views as well... |
