hello everyone....

just wanted to know what are the things to be kept in mind while buying a second-hand phone.... like warranty, battery etc.... what all should be seen and tried while looking at second-hand phones....

1. IMEI #
2. Region specific model (eg: 'a' is for the North American market, 'i' denotes international while 'c' is for China which means no GPS etc.)
3. Existing warranty
4. Nicks and scratches all around, especially on the screen and camera window
5. Contents of the box (helps while reselling it on fleabay or craigslist)
6. Memory card - a lot of scrupulous people sell phones without the memory card

Other than that, check the voice quality, click a few test photos, transfer all your contacts and appointments from your previous phone and buy a *good* quality screen protector (not the el-cheapo ones on fleabay).
