I would like to know how i could transfer contacts from my old Nokia 7650 to my new P800 on the fly. Is there a way I could transfer all at once?

Thanks

Try synchronising your 7650 to Outlook and then syncing Outlook to your P800.

Nokias have always been difficult to sync, even their top of the range business tool, the Communicator, because unlike Sony Ericsson u can't "send all" your contacts via infrared or bluetooth. Has it changed with the 7650? Try it if u have 2 SIMs. A more laborious way would be to save 250 contacts at a time on to the SIM and place it in the P800, copy to phone memory, back to 7650, clear SIM, copy next 250, place it in P800...... Get the pic? No wonder I hate Nokia so much. They're good for fun and games but for the real hardcore stuff (Sony) Ericsson is the one and only!

thanks omar.

that was my initial thought and probably my last resort. i was thinkin that there might have been a better and more glamorous way to it that making your sims act like floppies.

Guess will have to do just that.

Thanks again.

At least my 7650 synced perfectly with outlook. Use the pc suite provided on the cd-rom, and sync over BT or IR.

I really can't remember... And I haven't got it anymore, so I can't check it either. All I know is that it was easy to set up and make it work on Win98 and Office 2000.

Try installing the pc suite again, it should ask you what program you wish to sync with.

Correction.
I found the pc suite on my old laptop, I bought a new one to have alongside my P800
Anyway, in the "tool menu" up on the screen, you have sync --> konfig sync --> pop window appears with the options you have.
