I would choose the X1 over this and thats cos yes its SonyEricsson. LG though are releasing phones at a shockingly fast pace. |

I'd much much rather have this than the X1.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

I like the keypad of the Prada, but honestly the rest of the thing is so plain! Like where is the design effort that went into this? At least the X1 has it's own style! This is a rectangle with another rectangle for the screen, and then another rectangle slides out for the keypad.
It's just clean, minimalistic modern design. Would you say the iPod is badly designed? That's just a circle and a square in a rectangle. Most popular and iconic device of it's kind for years though. Not that I'm putting these on the same level, but it definitely has it's own style. The original Prada has been bought by 1 million users, so it can't be that bad! Remember, it's just a fashion phone at the end of it all, designed with Prada to match their brand. How can it possibly be compared to a smartphone?
I'm not a huge fan of LG, but for a feature phone, i'm sure it'll be better than a couple of phones of late.
Roll on 2009 and a new portfolio.

Yeah, 8 months after announcement. That has to be some sort of record.

yeah but nokia hasnt pinned all their hopes on N96. X1 maybe released on time but its 8 months after its announcement, thats quite sad really. when it was announced it looked amazing, but now with all HTC models and omnia and other LG phones its not nearly as attractive as before.

the x1 isnt meant to be 's saviour but anyway.
the x1 still has one of the best feature lists on the market, any one who says it doesnt is plain wrong imho. so its still as 'attractive' now as it was when it was announced.
when a car maker announces a new model at a motor show and says its going to be available next year, does that make it quite sad? defiantely not.
ok this has nothing to do with the lg. moving on.... |
