Quickest Way to Exit Music Player to Main Menu or to dial a number? |

When listening to music, you have to press the return keys many times (and wait) to return to the main menu. Using the Task function only lets you go to any open applications, not to the dial screen or main menu.
Any suggestions? |

Don't know which phone you are talking about, but presuming that you've posted your question in the right place (UIQ3):
1. Press & hold the back button if you want to go back to the standby screen
2. Just enter the number you wish to dial and press 'call' on the the standby screen

..and ditch the BB and buy a WM device
UIQ3: TS + outdated specs + limited sw
BB: Good specs (latest devices) but no TS (yet)
WM (PPC): Good specs + TS + virtually endless customizability (no hacks required) + gazillions of apps and games

i'm not sure if the g900 has it - but the p1 has an @ button on the right side of the phone that can be configuered to different uses - if you configure it to "standby" as i have done then pressing it once will instantly take you back to the standby screen. similiar to holding the back button but slightly quicker.

I have no intention of convincing you to go WM, but I think that you should do a bit more than giving it a try before coming up with such comments.

LOL. Use the right shortcut button, change it to standby.
Now while in music mode, press shortcut key only once, LOL, behold standby.
