How come, you should be able to delete the message by pressing the C key or going to more/delete option.

u can't delete it.

after a certain period of inactivity (or time - i'm not sure) it actually clears itself out. (as do customized words i noticed!!)

if it really bugs u, next time when u want to send a text message, go via the contact list. meaning:-

phonebook > contact name > more > send message > sms

if u do it via this way, the name will not appear on your "quick contact" list

yeah it is quite annoying. i have no idea how to do it so it does not show in the contact list, but if you try to call first the person then dc the call then text using the call log, it wont work. ill try the phonebook messaging later.

Hi everyone,
I'm using the G900 on 3 in Australia. Does anyone else have the issue that just randomly and for no specific reason the little world icon at the top of the screen will disappear. When this happens it's impossible to access the net again without turning off and on the phone. It's like something cuts out and the phone can't access the network again. I can still call and text message, but I just get an error saying that the browser 'cannot locate remote server'.

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

Overall, I'm liking the G900 (having come from a k810i), but if I can't get the phone to reliably access the net when it needs to, then it's kinda useless to me. Any help would be much appreciated.

Instead of restarting the phone, you could try restart the browser and/or switch to/back flight mode.

Thanks Zed, but switching to flight mode and back again doesn't seem to do the trick. Think it's got more to do with 3 than with the phone, but it's really frustrating getting stuck without internet and the phone not able to fix itself.
