i can't belive this!!!
lately i have updated my c902 to it's latest firmware - R3DA028
everything was fine, untill last night i was trying to transfer several MP4 videos to my cellphone...
on previous versions i could transfer video files [including MP4] via the USB cable using the SE media transfer program or using bluetooth.
but now - i can't transfer MP4 anymore!
using the media program on the computer -it simply blocks me and tells me that i cannot tranfer this type of file and when i try transfering it via the bluetooth it automaticly saves it in the music folder, making it unusable and unplayable.
what the heck??? |

actually just found a way to transfer and play the movies.
connect the phone to the PC via the USB
open the phone's drive via my computer
open the "phone memory" or "memory card" folder
go to "videos" folder and manually copy the video file.
disconnect the phone
play the movie.
works like a charm.
and in fact, performence in videos has been improved dramaticly. |

yup - mine does that too .... use MPE to upload instead, and it see's the
file as an audio file so only plays the sound !!

Hmm, I just got new firmware for the W760i and I seem to be having the same problem. All my MP4 encoded videos just went dead even though they were in the video folder. It just doesn't play them at all.
EDIT: Ah, alright. They removed Xvid MP4 support. Only choice now is to encode it with MPEG4

No, that's only the container. You can use h.264, MPEG4, and Xvid for MP4. The last two used to work. Now only the second one does.
Edit: Actually, I remember them all working. But h.264 was laggy no matter what the bitrate was.
