I know they can be unbranded, i just didnt know if they needed to be unlocked first.
Also does unbranding wipe all the data on my phone and will it allow me to delete protected files? |

You can debrand this phone if it is locked and it will still be locked after the debranding.
I debranded a locked 3UK branded C902 and had to get it unlocked afterwards.

You will lose all data that is on the phone memory , the ones in the memory card will be safe.
