Any chance that this phone can be unbranded even if it isnt unlocked?

Cheers for that.

I know they can be unbranded, i just didnt know if they needed to be unlocked first.

Also does unbranding wipe all the data on my phone and will it allow me to delete protected files?

You can debrand this phone if it is locked and it will still be locked after the debranding.

I debranded a locked 3UK branded C902 and had to get it unlocked afterwards.

You will lose all data that is on the phone memory , the ones in the memory card will be safe.
