T-Mobile G1 Unboxing Pictures
The inevitable G1 unboxing pictures have surfaced. While we would have preferred an unboxing video, all in good time all in good time. Until then, these pics give us a nice little look at the box exterior, whats in the box and a closer look at the accessories and doohickies inside.

It was supposed to be available for order at 9am via this link but is still "coming soon"
I was tempted, but I will not be getting anything on a rip off 18 month deal!

I just this minute walked past a T Mobile store and decided to pop in. I seen a demo of this phone a guy at the front of the store was using it. FABULOUS really nice device not that big and the screen and camera are great. The way it does the maps and you can use it like a compass when you move the handset around is cool. |

@MWEB
Well i can my now sold E90 and to be honest although i haven't used a G1 i have used an X1 and still to date if i was to use any of these again it would be my E90.
As although it was large that's the price you pay for the best and largest screen @4" and best keyboard which IMO makes all the difference. The G1 and X1 may be good but they are still merely pretenders to the E90's throne.

No i held it i never thought it was that big. And its got better features than the crappy iphone. They are currently offering it free on a 40 per month deal with unlimited internet unlimited text and 800 mins. Not bad. |

This really does seem like a massive fail - the silence here and elsewhere, even today on the day of the UK launch, tells a hell of a story given the weight this has behind it. It's got it's own link on the Google UK front page, for heavens sake! Where's the party? Where's the interest?
This really seems like a product without a point. Googlemaps? Gmail? They're on other phones already. What's the USP of the G1, exactly?
